A classic among sports watches is the Rolex GMT Master II with red and blue bezel(ref. 116710 BLNR). Most of you know this model by its nickname Rolex GMT “Pepsi bezel”, a reminescence to the soft drinks brand. This design is very famous and it is one of the most recognizable Rolex watches in the world. Of course, it is also one of my favorite timepieces ever.
The first Rolex GMT-Master II with red and blue bezel was manufactured in the mid 1950s. This was the first aviation watch released by Rolex and the red and blue combo was a tributte to PanAm airlines. This company brought an important contribution to the development of the Rolex two-time zones GMT models.
The red and blue bezel Rolex GMT-Master II hasn’t been a continuous presence within the Rolex collection. Until its newest version, the watch was absent for many years. In 2014, Rolex decided to continue this classic design by reinventing it with innovative materials and sleeker lines. The new Rolex GMT-Master II red and blue bezel was released under the reference 116719 BLRO.
The most interesting innovation about the Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi bezel is the two-tone ceramic bezel. The thing is that it is very difficult to make a ceramic bezel in a light color and Rolex has succeeded in making the first ceramic bezel in red color. The two tone ceramic bezel is called Cerachrom so basically the new Rolex GMT-Master II red and blue bezel has a cerachrom bezel. The advantage of this new type of material is that the color will never fade, it won’t stratch or deteriorate.
When I first saw this watch I knew that I must have it. Still, the purchasing decision was anything, but rushed. I took a lot of time to research the market with the desire of finding the most accurate Rolex GMT-Master II red and blue cerachrom bezel replica watch out there.
The Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi bezel is a very expesive watch. The original costs $41,000 and it is made from 18k white gold. This is why I knew that I can afford only a replica watch. The authentic Rolex GMT-Master II is out of my league.

The black dial has that elegant mate finish, white luminescent markers in the right size, the magnifying lens over the date is a 2.5 Cyclops lens, and the second time zone hour hand is in the correct size, shape and size. Even though the bezel isn’t cerachrom, but coated stainless steel it still looks very good.
At the inside, my Rolex GMT-Master II blue and red bezel replica watch is equipped with a Japanese automatic movement which keeps very good time and does not stop while I am wearing it. It usually works for about 20 hours if I wear it for 3-6 hours per day. I am very happy with its power reserve.
If you like the newest version of the classic Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi bezel then either be prepared to spend $41,000 on the real deal or a couple hundred dollars for a good quality replica. I opted for the second choice and for me it has turned out great. I now own a very beautiful watch that works and looks great.
